    Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. Everything is in the installer; the AI adds about 440 MB when you turn it on. The map uses WebView2.

  10. Which photo and video formats does firelet.media Gallery support?

    JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, AVIF, TIFF and more, plus MP4, MOV and other videos. Camera RAW is not supported yet. The full list, and which formats need a codec.

  11. Does firelet.media Gallery change my original photos?

    No. Edits, stars, keywords and albums are saved in the gallery's library, not in your files. A file changes only when you rename, move or delete it yourself.

    Open AI (Alt+3), click Download model (438 MB, once), then Index library. Indexing runs on your PC and unlocks description search, similar photos and tags.

    Click Map on the toolbar to plot every photo with GPS data, with cluster, trail and heatmap views. A background map needs a tile provider that you choose.

  16. Map says 'No map tiles configured': how to fix it

    The app ships without map imagery. Click Tile provider…, enter a tile service you're allowed to use (URL, attribution, your key) and the map fills in.

  17. How to export photos: resize, convert and remove location

    Select photos in the grid and press Ctrl+E (or right-click → Export…), then pick folder, format, size, quality, watermark and names. Originals never change.

    Open a photo, press E or the Adjust button, and change light, colour, crop and straighten. Edits save as you go in the library; the file itself never changes.
